This ONE HOUR private lesson is for ONE PERSON only, and can be tailored to your specific needs. It does not take the place of our regular classes, but it can help you if you're having problems with one or two aspects of how to use your camera, or how to improve your photography.

This TWO HOUR private class is for 2 or 3 people and is perfect for couples, families, or co-workers. It will get you on track to understanding what various the camera settings do and how to use them, and can be tailored to your specific needs.

Intro to Digital Photography - Two (2) One Hour Private Lessons

This Introductory course is for ONE person, and is designed for Beginner photographers, those new to digital cameras, or those who have forgotten what they once knew! We'll start with the very basics and work our way up to using the most common basic camera modes.

Lesson 1:
- Understanding the digital image
- Camera preparation and setup
- Proper camera handling for better images

Lesson 2:
- Easy to use "scene modes" and other settings
- Basic rules of composition
- General tips for better photos

Purchase this class and select the date for your first lesson. We'll choose the date for the 2nd lesson after that (must be concluded within 4 weeks after your 1st lesson).

DSLR Basics - Three (3) One Hour Private Lessons

1 hour · $299

This course is for ONE person and can be tailored to your needs. It is primarily designed for photographers who have a basic understanding of camera operations, but who need to learn more about them.  Discounts available for additional people - contact us.

These three (3) one-hour lessons typically include:

Lesson 1:
- Review proper camera handling
- The pros and cons of cropped and full-frame sensors
- Which lenses to use in different situations, and how different lenses effect the look of your photos
- Basic flash photography

Lesson 2:
- Understanding the "Exposure Triangle"
- Using shutter priority mode
- Using Aperture Priority mode

Lesson 3:
- Exploring other camera modes and settings
- White Balance: what it is and how to use it.
- RAW or JPEG?
- Composition tips
